Amazing weather

A warm weather spell, so hot in Wensleydale Well,
that people are even seen sunbathing.
With so much sun, everyone's in search of fun,
you should see how people are behaving.

Out come the boats, off come the coats,
people desperate for an early tan.
Roofs down on cars, sitting outside in bars,
and queues for the ice cream van.

The annual sale in the Vale

Today in the Vale there's the annual sale,
in every shop around.
On jackets and coats, cars and boats,
there's a bargain to be found.

For those working late, they're open till 8,
and you can also shop online.
But you must dash, to save lots of cash,
and using credit cards is fine.

Busy, busy, busy

Throughout Wensleydale, there is a massive sale,
and Cheasies have been visiting every store,
There are queues for miles, to get the latest styles,
because things are much cheaper than before.

You can save a large amount, with all the discount,
and some items are 50% less.
It's good business but, when the shops have shut,
you wouldn't believe all the mess!

A fashion show next week

Monday next week, pretty women slim and sleek,
will be at the Wensleydale fashion show.
There's a selection from the Rees-Jones collection,
and many other brands that you'll know.

Please be there on time, it starts at half past nine,
and is being held at the Stilton hotel.
The show lasts all week, so pop-in, take a peek,
it's a great image for Wensleydale Well.

All the local hotels are full

Most hotels are fully booked, I know I've looked,
so a free room is very difficult to find.
You could camp at Cheddar, but what may be better,
is to ask a local friend who's feeling kind.

The show is to blame, the price of fame,
as all the visitors want to stay.
In this time of boom, the cost of a room,
is well over 1 weeks full pay.
