The Dadooda library item
This is an example of an Article item type. It enables you to publish a magazine style article, with or without images.

An Article is ideal for a short piece of writing about any non-fiction subject.

You could write about anything that interests you or that you have experienced. Maybe you are an expert in a particular subject and would like to share your knowledge with other users of Dadooda. Or perhaps you are a budding travel writer or film critic. Or have some gardening tips to pass on.

In fact, any of Dadooda's 400+ non-fiction subjects are suitable for an Article.

Your Article can be up to 12,000 characters long including spaces. Typically, this is equivalent to about 2,000 words.

As an illustration, this example Article contains about 2,000 characters, or about 330 words. So your Article could be up to six times as long!

Creating your Article is a very simple process. You start by selecting the subject from a drop down list, then give it a title of up to 50 characters.

Next, write your Article. You can type it directly into Dadooda's easy to use template. Or you can copy and paste it from a text editor or word processing application such as Microsoft Word. If you do use Microsoft Word, we recommend you first read the Help section entitled Entering Text.

Finally, you can add up to five images to your Article, each with a caption of up to 50 characters.

For new users there is plenty of help available, including a character counter that shows you how many characters you've got left to use.

What's more, Dadooda's powerful edit function enables you to review and change any element of your Article - the subject, the title, the main text, the images or their captions - as many times as you wish, before you finally submit it for publication.

You can even upload a partially completed Article and use the edit function to complete it at a later date.

With Dadooda you have so much flexibility.
