| Every item in Dadooda's library is assigned
to a Subject. Currently. there are over 400 Subjects arranged in over
30 Subject Groups. These preset Subjects exist to help users browse Dadooda's
library – just like you might browse a particular section in your
local library.
A member assigns an item to a Subject of her or his choice before submitting
it for publication on Dadooda.
You can easily review the Subject Groups and Subjects available by selecting
SUBJECTS on the top navigation bar.
You can also search the library by Subject by selecting BROWSE BY SUBJECT
in the left column. This is a helpful search function that enables you
to retrieve every item on a single Subject. You can also refine the search
or display the search results in various ways.
Dadooda has devised this unique method of classifying items so that subjects
you would expect to find in a conventional library are mixed with subjects
of a contemporary nature that are more associated with the Internet or
today’s “digital lifestyle”.
The first Subject within a Subject Group always has the same title as
the Subject Group itself. This is for use when the subject matter of an
item is not covered by the other more specialised Subjects within the
Subject Group.
The Unclassified section which forms the last Subject Group is for use
when the subject matter of an item is not covered by any of the Subject
Groups.
